The Problem & the Fix

Three Gaps. One System of Record.

Spreadsheets and offline changes leave carriers without a reliable record of their distribution network.

No single system of record
THE GAP

Channel, hierarchy, and territory data sit in spreadsheets and legacy tools, without audit trails.

THE GAP

Without effective dates, nobody can say who reported to whom on a given date.

Mozart DCM

How does Mozart DCM respond to policy events from the core system?

Policy bound, lapsed, surrendered, and free-look events from the PAS trigger DCM workflows automatically, with no manual update needed.

Which types of data can be loaded in bulk?

Positions, reporting edges, assignments, hierarchies, and office edges each have a dedicated validate-then-commit loader.

How are channel imports approved before they take effect?

Each import runs as a staged proposal under maker-checker. It is submitted, then approved or rejected, with before and after state recorded for audit.

Can geographic and incentive hierarchies run alongside the reporting hierarchy?

Yes. Multiple hierarchy types coexist. Geographic and incentive hierarchies are currently configured manually alongside the primary reporting hierarchy.

What happens to a seller’s earned commission if they move to a different branch?

Nothing changes. The override chain, each hop’s rate, and the edge window are frozen when the policy event is processed, so later moves cannot restate earned commission.
